I just came home from Europe after teaching some Joy of Business Classes and going to the amazing rewrite of Foundation and Level One with Gary and I found myself talking about my step son Nash a lot!
It’s really funny to see him play with business and his most recent project he told us at the dinner table that he was going to create a website and he was going to call his company The Art Shop and after five minutes the project had expanded to be The Art and Craft Shop so he could have more business and products. Nash also has an amazing gift to sell his artwork whenever he desires money, he even draws arrows that lead you to his bedroom which is set up as his Gallery!
Once you get there everything is $5 no matter if it’s a couple of scribbles or a lot more detail has gone into it. His point of view is that you should probably buy more than one too! When I talk about this in classes this energy comes up, it’s like “It’s ok for him because he’s a kid and he doesn’t need money.” Which is true right now, but do you really need money either? Or would it just create your life with ease, joy and glory?
I wonder if we start to play with money and business with the joy of creation and lightness like Nash has when he creates would you receive a lot more and would money want to come to your party more often?
A question I asked in a Joy of Business class in Stockholm, Sweden was: “What is it you would love to create with business and make money from that you have been refusing to acknowledge?” I know I have asked this question a lot and I’m not surprised if you have heard me say it before, what I wonder though is – have you actually asked yourself this?
What if just for today you could indulge in what you would truly like do as a business that you could make money from – you could actually just for today do it, be it, generate it and choose it?
Just for today! Would you be willing to play with money, business, creation and joy? Just for one day? I figure you can’t lose your entire income in one day so it can’t be a serious request.
Would you be willing to indulge in the creativity and genius of you? If you did this for one day and practiced receiving and having joy with business… well I’m not actually sure what it would create for you! But you do! So I dare you to do it! And report back here tomorrow and let us know in the comments below what your day of indulgence created. Have fun!
