How many judgments do you have about money? Has it ever occurred to you to love it? In this world where money is one the most judged subjects there is, the idea of loving money can seem not only unthinkable, but entirely wrong.
What if you could have a totally different relationship with money–one where there is no right and no wrong? What would it be like to have total freedom to explore and enjoy the quality of relationship with money that works for you?
If nobody had ever taught you that money is a problem, difficult, evil, wrong, or any other myriad of judgments you’ve ever bought, would that actually be true for you? How much fun could you have discovering what money could be? What if money was something you enjoyed and were excited about?
What would it take for you to love money?
How different would your life be if you actually loved money? Really tune into that. Are you willing to be that radically different? Even if no one else around you is choosing it? How much fun could you have? How much more ease would there be in your life?
Having that kind of fun and ease with money takes letting go of all your judgments of money. It’s also about looking at everything you’ve decided about you and what you can create as your life.
All judgments are just interesting points of view.
When you get caught up in a judgment, try saying, “Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.” Repeat it over and over as many times as it takes until the judgment doesn’t have a charge anymore. Whatever tension was there will dissipate and allow you to choose something different.
What have you decided is true about money that seems insurmountable? That’s just an interesting point of view. What beliefs do you have about you and your ability to have and create money that perpetuates a distaste for money rather than looking at what points of view you can change?
Money gets so many points of view projected at it, no wonder so many people think it’s wrong. But it’s not about money; it’s the judgments you hold onto to justify the relationship you have with money that doesn’t work for you. Keep using the interesting point of view tool and you’ll be amazed at what can change.
What else have you concluded about you and money?
Have you decided that you’re really comfortable with having no money? That you have enough and that’s good enough for you? Maybe you’ve even decided you’re really comfortable with not talking about money or even giving it a lot of thought.
Interesting point of view.
My point of view is, no one needs to have a money problem. If you look at the amount of money there is in the world, there’s no shortage. There’s only a lack of people choosing it. This world would be an entirely different place if people allowed themselves to be greater than judgment and actually chose what works for them.
What if you were proud to actually have money?
Being proud of having money is not something most people think is ok. To be poor is often considered noble or appropriately humbling or even “normal.” What if you desired to create more and that was ok? You’re not wrong for having money, loving money, and choosing to have a good time. Practice saying you’re not poor. What change can that create?
Be proud of you and your business.
What if you could be proud and grateful for everything you’ve created? Regardless of what that is and how much money you currently have, truly acknowledge what you’ve created. What if there was no right or wrong to any of it? You did it, you chose it, you created it, and you’re not going to stop. Be proud of all of that.
In this world, where the love of money is considered totally wrong, and you’re considered wrong for having it or desiring it, celebrating what you’ve created is an interesting point of view. Be willing to be wrong in the eyes of others.
You deserve every single penny that you’ve ever had show up in your life. And you can create more than you’ve ever imagined. How much more fun can you have loving money and everything you can create with it?
What if the purpose of life was to have fun? Are you having any yet?
