How many of you have looked at something in your business, and gone “Oh, I’ve missed the boat. Or… I’m too old for this. Or… I don’t live in the right country. Or… you need a certain amount of money to create this thing …” or whatever the excuse is for you?. Here’s the thing. Colonel Sanders created Kentucky Fried Chicken in his mid-60’s after going broke. He started with a social security check! He became successful around 75 and died when he was 90. He didn’t give up. He didn’t turn 70 and go; “Oh my life is over. I can’t create anything else”. He kept going. He became a multi-millionaire in his 80’s and left a legacy where his trust still gives away over $1million every year. Think about Virgin Airlines. If Richard Branson bought the point of view that there was already an airline that went from America to the UK, he would never have created Virgin Atlantic. He never would have created greater possibilities for all airlines. He didn’t say “It’s already been done before”. He sensed a possibility and he went for it! So how many business ideas are you not instituting because of your excuses? What if these were the ideas that could lead to your business expanding dynamically? And all the excuses you have, and all the justifications that your business, your project, your ideas cannot actually come to fruition, as great as they possibility could, truth, will you destroy and uncreate them all? Right and wrong, good and bad, POC & POD, all nine, shorts, boys and beyonds. (You can find out more about the clearing statement here!) This is excerpted from the June 2012 Business Done Differently telecall. Would you be willing to use these calls to expand your possibilities and get the energy of instituting what’s required in your business? You can buy the calls here!
